Q: Can I Design My Own Cabin?

No, we are building the same 2,500 square foot floor plan with the option to add some customization. This exact cabin, only a few miles away, is an extremely successful short term rental. Our goal is to bring this success to all of our buyers. We are happy to share the details.

Q: What type of wood is the cabin constructed with?

The cabin is beautifully crafted from White Pine, a wood prized for its warm, inviting appearance and fine grain. Its durability and resistance to shrinking and swelling make it an ideal choice for a quality retreat.

Q: Will the cabins have their own well and septic?

Yes, all cabins will have their own well and septic.

Q: What are the utility companies and is internet available?

All mechanicals and appliances run off electric except the tankless water heater will require propane gas. Utility companies are: South Central Power for electric, Rutland Bottled Gas for leased propane tank, Culligan for the water softener, and DSS for internet (they provide AT&T and Wow) and expect Spectrum to be in the area in 2024.

Q: Can we build garages?

Not at this time, but we can help you plan a placement for a future garage.

Q: Can we build additional cabins on our lot?

We will be placing all of our cabins on their lots so if the future owner decides to build another cabin there is enough acreage to do so.

The Reserve at Big Pine, set to officially break ground in November 2023, is situated on 52 picturesque wooded acres on the famous Big Pine Road in Hocking Hills OH. Included in this stunning setting, you will find 10 spacious lots consisting of 5 acres. Each lot is uniquely set within the breathtaking and private terrain off the newly developed Ellis Lane drive about.

The Reserve at Big Pine is perfectly nestled between Lake Logan and Old Man’s cave, in the heart of everything Hocking Hills has to offer, just a quarter mile offset from route 664. Offsetting the entrance to seclusion you will immediately recognize the ravine, pond, and years old untouched landscape.

Cabin One is 2,450 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. There is a bedroom on each level with the primary on the main, one upstairs and one in the walkout basement. Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom. Cabin features: vaulted main living room ceiling, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, laundry on main floor, two tier decks with hot tub and fireplace, game room perfect for a pool table and theater room.
